Almost done 99.9%

March 21, 2013 I decided to take up cross stitching. It's cheap, doesn't take up space, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to do it. Right up my alley!

I thought I would breeze though this in a week. Life had other plans...About a week later I completed Jayne.

I got busy moving, getting sick, tending to a sick child. Always something else more important to do. March 24th, 2014 I was able to get 3 more done over a year after I started.

July 17th, 2014 I completed the pattern!! It needs a washing badly and I will frame it. There are several errors it would drive me mad. It wouldn't be until I was moving on to another section that I would notice. I had no real interest in taking it apart to fix the errors. I learned a few things along the way to improve the next pattern I do.
Print the pattern bigger
wear my glasses
use a magnifying light
wash hands obsessively
Don't be lazy! Cut the strings
No more white aida
Make a little time everyday to stitch

Here's to hoping the next one won't take over a year!
